Want To Become A 9-1-1 Operator?

Great pay, full benefits, great job security and exciting and important 'secure' work.

Get Trained, Get Certified, Get Employed

You probably will not find a college course in your area to attend.  You will also probably not find an agency or academy that will train and prepare you for this work.  Traditionally this profession only offers on-the-job training - and the fail rate is high.  Now, you have a choice to prepare.  A team of professional trainers from the 9-1-1 industry have written and teach a course that will help you achieve your dream job.

What you need to know.  The job test process is extensive and the work is challenging - if you aren't prepared.  For less then half the price of any college certificate course you can graduate from the 9-1-1 Academy.  This course is offered through Blackboard, an extensive and fun online course that covers call taking and dispatching for police, fire, EMS, as well as important learning about technology, E911,  crisis intervention and stress management.

The 90 day online academy covers the 10 units of knowledge you need to win and keep a job at 9-1-1 because it is taught by a working 9-1-1 Supervisor.  You will do research, hear actual 9-1-1 calls and learn, learn and learn more about your emergency communications systems and how to thrive in this exciting setting.

Once you have completed the course, you are eligible to take the National Emergency Communications Certification (NECC) 132 question online exam and become nationally certified
